Welcome!
Looking for High Quality Early Childhood Education?
Who We Are
Next Generation Learning Center has been a project created to improve the overall quality and availability of Early Childhood Education within Manistee County. Jason Cross, Director of Family Services for Little River Band of Ottawa Indians, saw a need to create a family center with affordable and available care for the workforce in the community. Dedication from the project ensures that Manistee County becomes a community of choice for families to stay or relocate based on employment opportunities. Lisa Morley, Education Consultant for NGLC, helped in the process of designing the building, programming, and advocating for Early Childhood Education.
Next Generation Learning Center is part of the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians Government. Funding for NGLC is a combination of grants, state funding, and funds provided by the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians. All revenue that is created by NGLC will be allocated back to NGLC to enrich the program and families that attend. NGLC is an organization that believes in a whole family approach to make every family successful and children life long learners.
